My new worst enemy
No. I am not talking about the irritating and slightly worrisome redish color my bank balance has been turning lately, although it is closely related. I am talking about Polyvore.com,
From Polyvore’s about page: “Polyvore is a fashion community site that lets you mix and match products from any online store to create outfits or any kind of collage. It is also a vibrant community of creative and stylish people. Polyvore lets you create sets composed of individual images using an easy to use, drag and drop editor. After you have created a set, you can publish and share it with your friends and the Polyvore community.”
For the love of god, if you have any fears of losing your hard earned cash on a frivolous $290 splurge on Chloe Square Sunglasses (in Dark Tortise), which are gorgeous by the way, or vanishing a month’s pay check on a leather Miu Miu sling purse, then for the love of god do not visit Polyvore. The good part? You can simulate window shopping by putting together your own outfits. And if that isn’t satisfying enough, you can limit yourself by price when shopping.
